Leveraging the power of beacon technology, an extension to the existing 24x7 app was created to allow customers to self-service upon entering selected Telstra Stores.

After an opt-in the customers receive a push notification upon arrival which prompts them to select from a list of support options. A customer satisfaction rating is also presented when the customer leaves the range of the instore-beacons
